The life story of a Dutch music icon
Artist Lee Towers turned eighty this year, the occasion for a book about his life, Geloof in je dromen. Former bookseller and author Maria Heiden will be in conversation – with or without a golden microphone – with Lee Towers and journalist and co-author of the book Louis du Moulin.
In the book, Lee Towers talks about his childhood in poverty, his family life and relationship with his great love Laura, and of course about his music career. But also about a failed catering adventure, a chilling experience during a hotel fire in Antwerpen, and persistent physical ailments.
