Enter the world of world-renowned Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen (born 1984). Van Herpen is considered one of the most avant-garde couturiers of her generation. Through her groundbreaking use of innovative techniques within her field, Van Herpen challenges fashion conventions while simultaneously embracing the traditional craftsmanship of haute couture.
The Sculpting the Senses exhibition presents a compelling overview in which fashion, contemporary art, design and science converge.
You are very welcome to stay after the program. Coffee and tea will be served in the Auditorium afterward. All exhibitions at the Kunsthal are open until 5:00 PM.
