Kinder Wijkatelier: Nature journaling

During this creative workshop, Carmen takes you outdoors to observe nature attentively and capture it in words and images. You really don't need to be good at drawing or writing; curiosity is all you need! With a notebook in hand, we head into the park in a small group. By sketching, writing, and looking closely, you create your own unique nature journal. Nature journaling is the art of drawing and writing in response to nature. The exercises help you unwind and develop an eye for the small details in nature. Meanwhile, you learn to recognize plants and animals better and develop your drawing and writing skills. In short: a relaxed workshop where wonder, attention, and fun take center stage. Please note! Make sure to register your child for each session separately. About Carmen Carmen José is an illustrator, teacher, and organizer with a passion for our connection with the Earth. Through her art practice, she enjoys supporting children and adults in connecting with nature and their surroundings.
