Kinder Wijkatelier: Maak een levend kunstwerk!
What happens when your artwork starts to grow?
During this workshop, we will work together with Rachel using chia seeds, natural materials, and our own imagination. We will create an artwork that is not finished in one day, but develops slowly. We will plant seeds that slowly grow into our own living creation. Sow, experiment, and discover how your artwork comes to bloom!
Please note! Make sure to register your child separately for each session. You can find the registration links under the relevant events on the programme page. You do not need to register yourself as a parent or guardian.
Participation is free and registration is required. If you choose to purchase a donation ticket, you support Dokhuis and help us keep other events free as well.
The workshops are accessible to children with different language backgrounds and language levels — whether they speak Dutch, another language, or are not yet very proficient with language. We use simple, clear language, show everything step by step, and translate where necessary, so that everyone can participate.
About Rachel Rachel de Waal is an enthusiastic maker and art educator in training, with a background in graphic design and autonomous art. In her work, the process is central: researching, making, reflecting, and inspiring others to discover their own creative voice. She thereby stimulates children's creativity in a playful and accessible way.
