Feel-good film from the makers of Intouchables in which a teenager in love grows up against the backdrop of the 80s and a quarrelling family.
It is 1985, The Cure and Imagination are battling in the charts, Kohl and Mitterand on the world stage. Almost thirteen-year-old Vincent is growing up in a Paris suburb, where not only the global economy, but also his family is in crisis. Father Yves (Louis Garrel) has lost his job but doesn't dare to tell anyone. Mother Sandrine (Camille Cottin) longs for a more challenging job after years as a secretary. The tensions regularly erupt into fierce arguments. While Vincent tries to find his place within a family that is growing apart, he experiences his first great love and takes his first steps towards adulthood.
