During North Sea Round Town, the two-day Jazz in Charlois is traditionally held in the historic centre of Oud-Charlois, this year on 5 and 6 July. Come along to this beloved neighbourhood festival with two days of live music, meeting and summer fun.
Since the beginning of North Sea Round Town, the outdoor stage on the Charloisse Kerksingel has been a permanent fixture. This two-day festival in the weekend before North Sea Jazz has grown into an indispensable hotspot for residents and enthusiasts. Local and (inter)national artists provide a musical celebration, right in the middle of the neighbourhood, where children play, neighbours have a drink and the square comes alive. Come along and experience how Charlois gives its own voice to the festival—welcome to the neighbourhood, welcome to the music.
North Sea Round Town is the fringe festival of NN North Sea Jazz. For three weeks, the festival will sharpen the Rotterdam summer with live music in places you wouldn't expect - from gardens and churches to streets, music venues and public transport.
