What is inner peace anyway – and how can we find it?
Almost everyone is looking for it, but in our busy daily lives it is often difficult to maintain peace.
We try everything: meditation, mindfulness, breathing calmly, spending time in nature… But what really helps us to experience stable inner peace?
In the ancient Buddhist tradition, much has been written and practiced about how to cultivate this deep peace. During this evening, experienced meditation master Lama Jigmé Namgyal will take you along in this wisdom. Together we will explore how we can apply this knowledge in modern life and how we can develop sustainable inner peace.
About Lama Jigmé Namgyal
Lama Jigmé (1973) was born into a nomadic family in Golog, in Eastern Tibet. At the age of eight, he entered the monastery and ten years later he went to study at Serthar Larung Gar, one of the largest Buddhist institutes in Tibet. He studied Buddhist philosophy, meditation and guidance there for many years. On the advice of his teachers, he left Tibet and came to Europe, where he has since founded two Buddhist centres: in Luxembourg and Rotterdam. Lama Jigmé teaches at universities, provides leadership training and guides people through the dying process.
