Heel Nederland Leest
November is the month of Heel Nederland Leest (All of the Netherlands Reads). During this time, you can pick up the thrilling bestseller Het diner by Herman Koch for free at Rotterdam libraries (while supplies last). The idea behind this annual campaign is to read the same book with a large group of people at the same time. In Rotterdam, we are participating and celebrating with lots of fun activities!
In November, as part of Heel Nederland Leest, you can pick up the novel Het Diner by Herman Koch for free at the library. Have you finished it or are you currently reading it? Then come to the one-off book club at Overschie Library.
During the book club, you chat with other readers about the story, the characters, and the themes that stand out to you in The Dinner. You conduct the conversation using question cards while enjoying coffee, tea, and some treats. By exchanging reading experiences, you see a story from a completely different perspective or discover something you might not have read yourself. But perhaps most importantly: you realize how much fun it is to talk about books together!
