The Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend (GRAW) once again opens the doors of hundreds of artists' studios on September 19 and 20. You have a unique opportunity to experience Rotterdam's growing art scene. Meet makers, discover their creative processes, and admire uncurated artworks directly from the studio.
A Unique Look Behind the Scenes
Expect surprising encounters and diverse atmospheres, from Crooswijk to Coolhaven and from Hillevliet to Hillegersberg. This weekend offers you a glimpse into the places where ideas are born and where art comes to life. In addition to open studios, many locations are organizing live music, performances, or workshops.
GRAW: A Growing Movement
What began as a reaction to closed museums and galleries during the pandemic grew into a movement. The 7th edition welcomes approximately 600 artists and makers at about 80 locations spread across the city. GRAW connects artists and the public in an open and shared cultural future.
