A new tour and that includes a stop at BIRD. Gizmo Varillas is coming to Rotterdam. The Spanish singer songwriter from the United Kingdom makes folky pop songs with tropical instrumentation, Latin and Afrobeat rhythms. With lyrics that touch, he creates a powerful combination of simple but profound Marley-esque lyrics, driven by Paul Simon melodies, John Frusciante guitars and so many Latin and Afro influences that it is difficult to name them all.
