Gaye Su Akyol

In her live shows, Akyol weaves traditional sounds and instruments – such as the electro baglama and sazbüş – together with electric guitar, bass and synths. Her music is layered and energetic, and alternates between acoustic intensity and rhythmic tension. Expect a carefully constructed set that is both musically and visually thoughtful, with room for poetry, social commentary and personal stories.
