A book to bring us together, conversations to stay

Some books make you want to talk about them. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom is one such book. For the first meeting of The Unread Society's book club, you will come together at Ülker’s Pastry. You will discuss a life story that asks a simple question: what makes a life meaningful? Through the conversations between Mitch and his former professor Morrie, you will discover more about friendship, love, ambitions, and the things you often put off.

Expect an engaging conversation

Expect thoughtful questions, different ideas, and the space to share passages that stayed with you. Or, for that matter, the parts you had doubts about. The meeting starts with an introduction round, so you can get to know the other attendees in a relaxed way. After that, the conversation follows and there is time to make new contacts. This is an English-language meeting for anyone who loves books or wants to start reading again. You do not need extensive analysis or years of book club experience. Come alone or bring a friend, listen, share, and see where the conversation leads you. If you are looking for a reason to put your phone away, open a book, and meet other readers in Rotterdam, you are very welcome.
