Daniëlle & het beest – Een Rotterdams sprookje
In this Rotterdam fairy tale, you will see an adaptation of Belle en het Beest. Do not expect a sweet fairy tale, but a performance with raw street stories, humour and music about change and trust.
About Daniëlle & het beest
Visitors, volunteers and staff of the Nico Adriaans Stichting (NAS), a shelter for homeless people, perform their own version of the well-known story Belle en het Beest.
What can you expect?
Do not expect a classic, sweet fairy tale. You will see a performance with raw stories from the street, full of humour and music. It is about holes in soup ladles, the walls we build around ourselves and the belief in change. Let yourself be surprised, because in Rotterdam, Lumière is just a lamppost and the real prince is hiding under a worn-out winter coat.
