Coderdojo

What is CoderDojo? CoderDojo is a global movement of free programming clubs, where young people discover technology with the help of volunteers in a social, safe environment. At CoderDojo, it's all about creating things yourself: for example, a game, website or app, with room for your own ideas and collaboration.

From curiosity to creating yourself The goal of CoderDojo is to inspire young people to create technology, share knowledge and work on projects together. Playing a game is fun, but figuring out how your own game would work opens up a whole new world. What should happen when you press a button? How do you make a character move? And what can you try if something doesn't work yet?

That curiosity is a great starting point for getting started with code. Not everything has to work right away: trying things out, asking questions and trying again are part of the discovery.
