But father, who is called Captain Fantastic by his children, prefers to keep his children away from all stimuli and negative influences of society. Captain Fantastic is a family show about raising children outside the lines and being one with nature. Based on the award-winning film with the same title, but now for everyone from eight years old.

A father lives with his children in the forest, far away from civilization. He teaches them everything you need to know about nature: which plants you can eat, how to make a fire and how to catch a rabbit. Their mother has not lived with the family for a while. When they hear that she has died, they return to the city in their van for her funeral.

The children end up in a world full of strange customs that they do not know. They want to make friends, discover the world. But their father prefers to keep them safe. Not only from the stimuli of society, but also from their grandmother. She finds the way of raising them abnormal and unhealthy. She does everything she can to take the children away from their father and get custody.
