The Writing on the Stall, Caitlin Cook’s successful musical about graffiti in toilet stalls, has quickly grown into a comedic, musical, and theatrical sensation. The show sold out multiple runs of performances Off-Broadway, national tours, and most recently the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This unique show—literally set in a pub restroom—is candid, compelling, and hilariously funny. The graffiti scribbled all over the stalls forms the lyrics of her original songs and marks the route of the journey she takes us on. Through these irreverent, moving, and often obscene messages, Cook reflects on our shared humanity and what we owe one another.
