Byzantium; a restaurant named after the largest and most prosperous city of the Ancient World. Once a bustling place, its expiration date has now passed. Think old pans, blunt knives, and a losing cook stirring the soup. An owner who fries her own liver and ancient waiters on oxygen tanks. A performance about misguided nostalgia, gastronomic phobias, but despite everything, mouth-watering desires.
