Big Dave & The Dutchmen

Big Dave Reniers, known from Electric Kings and Dizzy Dave Band, is a master of the harmonica and a charismatic frontman. With his band, he takes you to the nostalgic, smoky blues clubs of the 50s and 60s. They play the blues with feeling and respect for its origins, but without falling into clichés.

The line-up further consists of well-known 'cracks' in the genre: Roel Spanjers (who has frequently blown away the Walhalla venues together with Frederique Spigt), Mischa den Haring, Darryl Ciggaar, and Dusty Ciggaar. Each band member contributes to the band's unique sound: soulful harmonica, 'Down Home' blues piano, expressive guitar work, and a smooth rhythm section. They sound like the raw, smoky clubs of early Chicago blues, where the whiskey flowed freely and the day didn't end until the sun rose again.
