Babs

Babs is not just a rapper, producer and songwriter; she is on a mission. Her goal is to playfully challenge the male-dominated music scene. Babs' music is a combination of menacing trap drums, melodic rap and unpredictable rhythmic chords, with a cheerful pop twist. However, the story she wants to tell is the most important and is always central to her music.

Although her first release came in 2021, Babs wasted no time and quickly released a series of singles and two EPs. At the end of November she released the cheerful song 'Ze Waait Weg'. Her funky tunes have attracted attention at festivals such as the Liberation Festival in The Hague, and her music found a place in the award-winning, socially critical television series Atlanta, illustrating the extensive impact of her work.
