QED — Quite Evidently Delusional - A stand-up comedy show
Anu Vaidyanathan has a PhD in electrical engineering, two children, and a spectacular history of decisions that would not survive peer review. After years of studying calculus, organic chemistry, and vaguely constructed laws, she has discovered that none of them explain marriage, or parenthood, or why otherwise intelligent people insist on having opinions. Is marriage a hostage situation with a joint tax return? If children are the future, can we ask for our money back? QED is an unwise attempt to prove that life is logical. The hypothesis is questionable. The methodology is flawed. The conclusions are completely made up.
Just like parenthood.
Engineer, filmmaker, Ultraman finisher, mother of two, and now with us on stage in an attempt to prove that life makes sense. Anu Vaidyanathan is one of the first Indian women to bring a full hour of comedy to the Edinburgh Fringe, with shows like BC:AD – Before Children, After Diapers and Blimp.
QED is her sharpest and nerdiest hour to date. Have you ever been married, do you have children, or have you ever met someone with an opinion? Then this show is for you. See her on Saturday, January 30, 2027, at Comedy Club Haug Rotterdam for only €[prijs]!
Please note: this show is in English.
