AND A SECOND LATER

And A Second Later is a programme of short films and an exhibition in which first-year students of the Master Lens-Based Media enter into dialogue with each other's work and with the world. Their films and installations explore alternative histories, forgotten places, poetic visions and uncomfortable truths. Themes such as memory, feminism, ecology and identity come together in visual experiments that play out between dream and reality. The works are part fiction, part archive, part performance – always personal, curious and investigative. This programme is a sensory and substantive journey through a rich range of lens-based practices, from animation to found footage to speculative fiction.
