Al 150 jaar op pad voor een schone stad in de Maastunnel

The work and the resources are constantly changing, but the commitment to a clean city remains. 'Al 150 jaar op pad voor een schone stad' is an ode to 150 years of craftsmanship on the street: to the employees and to the resources with which they clean Rotterdam every single day. V Female Photo Agency curated the exhibition with special images from, among others, the Stadsarchief Rotterdam and the collection of Museum Rotterdam. In addition to the photos, there is a special photo wall where visitors can immortalize themselves as a street cleaner. This way, travelers on the escalators can not only get acquainted with 150 years of street cleaning, but also become part of the story themselves for a moment. The exhibition can be seen for free from 1 November 2026 to 1 March 2027 along the escalators in the Maastunnel.
