Vroesenpark

The park consists of, among other things, a large lawn, walking paths, and two ponds. There are many benches and playground and sports equipment.

The stork searches for its food here.

The park was laid out as early as 1929 directly opposite Blijdorp Zoo along Vroesenlaan. Consequently, the stork that breeds at Blijdorp Zoo comes here every morning to look for food. In Vroesen Park, there are large lawns where you can run and play endlessly. You will also find playground equipment and a fishing pond.

Rotterdammers enjoy gathering here with blankets, picnic baskets, and barbecues. Or they pull up a chair in the Vroesen Pavilion for a bite to eat and a drink. In the summer, festivals are regularly held in Vroesen Park.
