BIRD refers to the poetic nickname of American jazz saxophonist Charlie 'BIRD' Parker. BIRD therefore stands for jazz, but also for warmth, soul, pizzas, metropolitan rawness, funk, hip hop, electronica, good wines, no-nonsense beers, atmospheric listening concerts, and ecstatic 'party people'. BIRD's kitchen is a reflection of the city of Rotterdam: unpolished, honest, and a crossroads of styles and cultures. Our pizzaiolo prepares delicious pizzas in the wood-fired oven.
