Rotterdam's only stand-up comedy club is programming (inter)national comedians representing the LGBTQ community as part of Pride Rotterdam. During Queer Fest itself on Sunday 22 September, Comedy Club Haug will host a show featuring Dutch comedians. Shows by US luminaries will follow later: Jade Esteban Estrada and Sam Jay.
On 10 October, this regarded comedian will perform. Jade Esteban Estreda has performed at more than 350 Pride events around the world. He started out as a choreographer, sang demos for major acts and was a popular recurring guest on The Jerry Springer Show! He also appeared in 30 Rock and The Graham Norton Effect.
This show is in English.
Sam Jay
On 20 October, Sam Jay will perform. She made history as the first dark and lesbian writer for Saturday Night Live AND was immediately nominated for an Emmy. She was also part of The Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix.
