Zwerfhonden

'Zwerfhonden' is loosely translated to 'The dog that bit the Tsar in the leg' by Toon Tellegen (Em Querido's Uitgeverij, Amsterdam). It is an exciting, musical dance performance containing polyphonic barking and growling dog choirs, arias and duets.

What is unique about 'Zwerfhonden' is that accessibility is fully integrated into the performance and the interactive supporting programme. A choir that gives the dance a voice, a sign language interpreter in the role of reporter, an extra dimension through scents and interactive video animations as visual support take you into the story.
