After a year of realizing how important our freedom is, celebrating it must absolutely not be forgotten!
The Zegevieren Festival is an annual music festival that takes place during Liberation Day in Rotterdam. The celebration of freedom takes center stage at Willemsplein, with an energetic program full of electronic music and DJ sets.
From afternoon into the evening, various artists and DJs create a festive atmosphere where gathering, dancing, and enjoyment take center stage. The festival attracts a broad audience and has developed into a fixture within the Rotterdam Liberation Day festivities.

Rotterdam Pride Festival returns in September
After a year's absence, Rotterdam Pride Festival returns this year with a new edition on Saturday 27 September 2025. Taking place on Willemsplein, the festival will mark the conclusion of Pride Week, which runs from 19 to 28 September.
