Workshop Straight from Dakar | Groovy Female Hiphop ¹⁶⁺

Three fiery voices from the Senegalese hip-hop scene land in the Netherlands for the first time. Raw, rhythmic and radical. They give four concerts at North Sea 'Round Town. Especially for you they come with a workshop to Studio de Bakkerij!

A workshop in two parts: you will talk to Sister LB about growing up in the suburbs, perseverance, resilience and chasing your dreams. Then Oumy – African Award winner Best Rapper 2024 – and Mina la Voilée will teach you the real Senegalese moves.

During these workshops you will hear a completely new sound and experience the powerful energy of Senegalese girls who know who they are, what they stand for and what they are worth.

The workshop is in English. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes without heels - that's how you dance best.
