Oral history is a method of interviewing in which you listen to personal memories. During this special workshop, you bring along your aunt, grandmother, mother, or another woman from your family and dive into your oral history. From historian and journalist Marjan Beijering, you will learn how to uncover remarkable stories through an interview, as well as the pitfalls and what you (together) could do with these interviews.

Unearth remarkable stories
You will also learn what the pitfalls of interviewing are and what you can do with these interviews. Together, you will discover your family history and the special stories that go with it. The workshop offers a good opportunity to look at your shared past in a new way together with a family member.
