Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam (WFFR) is the annual film festival showcasing the most beautiful nature films from the Netherlands and abroad.
Impactful nature films
Every year, beautiful and impactful nature films are made around the world that don't reach mainstream cinemas in the Netherlands. That's why WFFR gives these films a platform and gives their creators the recognition they deserve. The films showcase the beauty of nature and raise awareness of our collective responsibility for its conservation.
Every year, WFFR welcomes both national and international filmmakers to Rotterdam. They attend screenings of their films and participate in Q&As or discussions after the screening.
Besides being a film festival for the public, the Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam is also a meeting place for wildlife film professionals.
Films are shown at Cinerama, LantarenVenster and various other locations in Rotterdam.
