WaveHouse
WaveHouse is a collective specializing in integrating fixed structural frameworks with open, spontaneous responses within improvisation. They create unique musical experiences that are both structured and free.
Founded in 2024, WaveHouse is an experimental music ensemble based in The Hague and Rotterdam. Their practice unfolds at the intersection of compositional precision and performative elasticity, creating situations where notation functions less as a prescription than as a catalyst for interaction. The ensemble explores music as an evolving ecology of listening, decision-making, and shared authorship. WaveHouse is currently producing its first album, which will be released in late 2026.
