The Story
Two strangers meet by chance. Or not? Their families turn out to have been connected for generations. Not by love or friendship, but by a loaded past. One comes from a line of oppressors, the other from a history of resistance. Confrontational, painful, but also hopeful.
About the creator
Cheroney Pelupessy is a dancer, choreographer and theatre maker with Indonesian, Moluccan and Dutch roots. She combines her passion for dance with a profound search for community and representation, with respect for tradition and space for innovation.
