Villa Europa is a theatrical and topical ode to Stefan Zweig and his vision of old Europe. De Warme Winkel is bringing this acclaimed, tragicomic performance about humanism, populism and European identity back to the stage.
The call to strengthen European defense is getting louder and louder, but what is Europe actually defending when it defends itself? Intolerance is increasing on our European continent, the far right is gaining ground in many countries and opponents are powerlessly searching for ways to turn the tide.
