UNIC CityLab: Music communities in a post-industrial city

Researchers, makers, community organisers, students and city professionals come together to explore how music communities emerge, grow and deal with a city that is constantly changing. Through inspiring conversations, interactive workshops and joint reflection, you will discover how music is not just a cultural expression, but also a powerful tool for inclusion, well-being and social engagement. Whether you make music, study, are active in the cultural sector or are simply interested in music, identity and urban culture: CityLab offers new insights, interesting encounters and fresh perspectives. Expect a mix of knowledge, creativity and exchange in which the experiences of local music communities take centre stage. An inspiring gathering for anyone who wants to discover how music connects people, neighbourhoods and cities.
