Uitzinnig
"Uitzinnig" is a musical, rebellious ode to talent and perseverance, in which the young painter Elizabeth turns the art world and gender norms upside down.
Elizabeth is a young talented painter. She is good, very good. So good that the bigwigs of the Royal Academy cannot ignore her. The world is watching. Can Elizabeth become the first woman to be admitted to this elite club? Can she make a difference for the emancipated suffragettes, be an example to her loyal fans, break the glass ceiling of Buckingham Palace?
Uitzinnig is a musical performance full of humor and rebellion. With colorful rainbow we mock gender, art, power and what is or is not destined for people.
