Tzara the Machine - Hope (EP Release) X Escarteen Sisters

Songwriting with a few screws loose. Double bill night: An album release + An opening act.

The headliner of the evening is Tzara The Machine, the solo project of Amsterdam-based Venezuelan singer-songwriter and producer Francisco Garrido. Influenced by Björk, Bon Iver and Animal Collective, Tzara blends acoustic samples, electronics and layered lyrics about mental health and inner patterns into a haunting sound. Live, Francisco shares the stage with Carolina Gemmell (guitar/vocals), Matteo Mazzù (bass/effects) and Chen Har Even (drums/pads), resulting in a versatile show that switches between raw guitars and meditative soundscapes. During this release show of the EP Hope, Tzara The Machine immerses you in a layered world full of sound and emotion. The evening is opened by the Escarteen Sisters, a special string duo consisting of Laia (viola/vocals) and Flavia (cello/vocals). Their work is characterized by a raw, personal interaction and a subtle play between voice and string, with roots in Mexico, Belgium and Spain. They will perform work from their second album Caure Sostingut and new material from the upcoming Pedra & Ploma. Expect an evening in which intimate acoustics and experimental electronics seamlessly merge.
