Treasure

While Ruth hopes to gain insight into their family's past, the charming bon vivant Edek has his own plans. Their generation gap and the culture clash they experience in post-communist Poland in the 1990s show how the search for connection does not only have to be sad. Treasure was directed by Julia von Heinz (And Tomorrow the Entire World) and is based on the international bestseller Too Many Men by New York writer Lily Brett. Girls actress Lena Dunham takes on the role of the neurotic Ruth, while Stephen Fry (The Hobbit, V for Vendetta) plays the role of father Edek.
