After a reign of terror, they accidentally encounter a strange sea creature - which sounds like a flute - and their adventure begins. Along the way, their friendship is tested by the dangers of the sea, disagreements and some rivals in the Trifecta fleet. Lydian and Iona must learn to trust themselves and expand their horizons to discover the mystery behind the sea creature.

This nine-episode web series is the perfect introduction to the magical world of opera and classical music for children, families and anyone looking for a little whimsy. Threepenny Submarine features music from Mozart to Dame Ethel Smyth and highlights famous melodies you won't be able to get enough of. The last two episodes feature newly composed music by Canadian composers Cecilia Livingston and Ryan Trew.
