The Lighthouse
In the age of streaming and digital effects, director Robert Eggers prefers to go analogue. After the 17th-century horror of The Witch, he comes up with The Lighthouse , a story shot on ancient cameras about two gruff men (Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson with indestructible moustaches and unintelligible accents) who have to guard a lighthouse together on a rock in the sea, around 1890.
