Mezzo-soprano Tania Kross celebrates Christmas in the Netherlands this year! She brings the warmth of their sunny island Curacao with her and, together with Randal Corsen and the ZO! Gospel Choir, brings a Caribbean Christmas to life. A warm, colorful and festive celebration in which music and stories come together.
Kross, known for her powerful voice and charismatic performance, takes the audience back to her Curaçao roots in Caribbean Christmas. Together with pianist friend and Edison Jazz winner Randal Corsen, she brings a program full of traditional Christmas songs, interspersed with energetic rhythms from the island. They are vocally supported by the magnificent ZO! Gospel Choir and accompanied by a great band.
The result is a crazy mix of styles: from traditional Antillean music to swinging jazz and powerful gospel. With White Christmas, Silent Night and Feliz Navidad, Caribbean Christmas warms even the coldest Dutch nights.
