**Stella & The Longos are coming to BIRD on Tuesday 21 April**with their new album Amour Propre.
Amour Propre is the new album from the Berlin-based, multinational band Stella & The Longos. Following Détends-Toi (2022), the first collaboration between singer Stella Zekri and producer Ed Longo, Amour Propre showcases the band's development over the past two years. Through intensive touring, the duo has grown into a strong live band, complemented by top musicians from Berlin. This live energy is central to the album.
The music moves between Afro-Caribbean influences, boogie and electronic elements.
Stella's voice always takes center stage: powerful, sensual, and personal. Her lyrics touch on love, self-reflection, and connection, but also on dancing together and sharing the moment. With The Longos as her permanent backing band, Amour Propre sounds like what it is: an album made to be played live.
