O. stands for oxygen in the second edition of Steefs O. Show. Oxygen, just like humor, beauty and music, is vital, especially in turbulent times. Steef de Jong has combined these elements in a new dazzling operetta revue: Steefs O.2 Show.
Steef takes you along with Richard Groenendijk, Loes Luca, Anne-Marie Jung, Laetitia Gerards, Arturo den Hartog, the DoelenEnsemble and the Luxor Musical Choir on “Ein Spaziergang durch das Land der Operette”. In other words, a walk through the wonderful world of operetta. A genre that had all but disappeared here, but is back again. And how!
In Operettaland everything is within walking distance and you can be in another country in just a few minutes. On our walk we meet Countess Mariza, who has returned to her estate to be free of all her worshipers. We hear Tassilo, a run-down Hungarian baron who is now the countess's gardener. In Russia we witness the love story of the Zarewitsch, the son of the Tsar. And you never know where the walk will take you next…
