Sounds of Life A Production of Tango Arts Academy International
Sounds Of Life is an atmospheric Tango music & dance performance, inspired by the Argentinian-French composer Gustavo Beytelmann, his compositions and those of other maestros from the rich tango tradition, such as Astor Piazzolla. Generations that inspire and renew each other in close collaboration, that characterizes the artistic heart of Sounds of Life and all its performers.
This collaborative project was created with and by musicians who studied under Beytelmann's artistic direction at the renowned Tango department of the Rotterdam Codarts conservatory. The dancers previously shared the stage with the maestro himself on the grand piano in Tango Meets Jazz (2021).
The dance is directed by choreographer Rogier Dasselaar and was created in direct collaboration with the dancers, each of whom made a major contribution to the dance creation in Sounds of Life.
