Oscar winner Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer) gives a fantastic lead role in Small Things Like These. During the Berlin Film Festival, this film by Flemish director Tim Mielants (Peaky Blinders, Wil) received rave reviews from the international press.

Based on Claire Keegan's best-selling novel of the same name, Small Things Like These is set in Ireland during the 1980s. The small port town where coal merchant Bill Furlong (Cillian Murphy) lives is controlled by the Catholic Church. While working hard to support his family, the man uncovers disturbing secrets at a house of correction run by the Catholic Magdalen Sisters, led by Sister Mary (Emily Watson). Here, 'fallen' women and girls are exploited and abused in the laundries. The revelations also force Furlong to confront his own past and break his silence.

Pathé Schouwburgplein shows exclusive Swan Lake ballet in IMAX format

The world-famous Swan Lake (Swan Lake) ballet, performed by the Paris Opera's famous ballet company, has been shot with IMAX cameras for the first time. This unique screening of the ballet, lasting 145 minutes, will be shown at Pathé Schouwburgplein from Friday 8 to 10 November.
