Silke Veld

Her love for music started after Silke decided as a 9-year-old girl that she wanted to become a professional footballer. This turned out not to be her strong suit, and after many broken bones her mother took away her football. So Silke had to look for a new hobby and started singing, later followed by songwriting.

Silke's music has a 'MEAU meets BLØF' like atmosphere, and is about all the normal and less normal things in her life that she feels something about. With her cool anecdotes, interspersed with the occasional deep question about life, Silke throws you in all directions and only lets you go when it is time for wine.
