Dr. Sherida Pinas is a theatre maker, singer-songwriter, and neurological music therapist from Suriname who uniquely brings together art and clinical healing. From behind the piano, she shares profound personal and universal stories through her distinctive jazzy, soulful voice and poignant spoken word. Her work addresses taboos and complex themes such as abuse and relationships, creating a safe space for dialogue, empathy, and collective healing.
