Saturday Night Fever
The young attractive Tony Manero comes from a poor immigrant family and grows up in Brooklyn, New York. He and his friends dream of the inaccessible Manhattan, just across the river. Every Saturday evening they escape from everyday reality in the disco '2001 Odyssey'.
Tony is the king of the dance floor, he is adored by women and is an example for all boys. When he meets the beautiful Stephanie Mangano one evening, he ditches his regular dance partner Annette. After a number of dramatic events and confrontations with his family and friends, he decides to take the step with her to the successful and vibrant Manhattan.
With a surprising design, a new translation and various world hits in both Dutch and English played by a live band. Starring Buddy Vedder and Esmée Dekker, among others.
