São João, also known as the Feast of St. John or Midsummer Festival, is celebrated every year by the Cape Verdean community at the 'Pracinha d'Quebrôd' in Rotterdam.
It will be a colorful day full of culture, tradition, music, Cape Verdean delicacies, stories, and activities for all ages, accompanied by the drumming of the tambor. Bem kola ma nos!
Normally, São João is at Heemraadsplein, but due to construction work, it is in the Oude Westen neighborhood park this year.
