After the successful Integration Plan #1 – awarded by NRC as the best cabaret show of 2022 – Saman Amini dives into the depths again. In Integration Plan #2 : Everything is Perspective he travels back to Iran, the country he left 25 years ago. He looks with the eyes of a Dutchman, but still feels the roots in his body.
Saman Amini makes big themes human. Raw, witty, musical, sometimes very hard, but honest. He analyses our thought patterns about identity, integration and image formation. Is the Netherlands a place full of freedom? Or a country full of invisible borders? Are migrants a problem or the mirror we need? Saman lets you look through the eyes of the other. And it is precisely there, in that discomfort and that recognition, that the beginning of understanding lies.
