aboteurs is a play about unreliable narrators, broken promises, power and superiority. A magical search for ways to escape the stories we have been taught to get a grip on reality. Can you review your foundation? And if you are trained to always see yourself through other people's eyes, can you still escape the other person's gaze? Even if the other person is you?

In Saboteurs a young illusionist looks back on his teacher; a mysterious neighbor, born on the other side of the ocean, who taught him the tricks of the trade. From behind his magic table he tries to put his lessons into practice and dutifully fulfill the role he has been taught. But the more he remembers about his teacher, the less reliable his memories prove to be.
